I'm back on the mainland now, and have a big backlog to do about Lewis - but I wanted to put a picture up quickly in case its subjects wanted to download it! This is Brett and Theresa with their beardie Tilly. We got talking at Na Gearrannan Blackhouse Village (about which more later) and they revealed they were on holiday for their 25th wedding anniversary. I hope this is a nice anniversary picture (you must have got married when you were ten). Anyway, happy anniversary to you both, and wishing you many more lovely trips. And a hug to a very cuddly beardie.

Just been catching up on your latest adventures. Jo is down for the weekend and is at present upstairs sleeping off the crab she devoured last night in Port Isaac, its Sunday 11am now.
I really liked your discription of the Crofters cooperative store... where they actually sell things that people need and want, rather than what some marketing goon thinks will turn a better profit irrespective if its any use to the customer. our local farm supply co-op used to be like that.. run by men and women who wore brown dust coats, now its run by people in M&S suits and no use to anyone!!
Any way its great to read your blog carry on having a great tour!!
